Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said it is fairer to introduce the one-off corporate tax for companies making more than RM100mil, known as cukai makmur (prosperity tax) instead of windfall tax which were proposed by certain quarters to impose on companies known to have raked in huge profits during the Covid-19 pandemic.
