India vs England: 30 Wickets Fall Inside Two Days, Rohit Sharma Says Motera Pitch 'Interesting'
India beat England by 10 wickets to win the third Test at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Motera on Thursday (February 25). The match finished inside two days and was the shortest Test match since World War II. Rohit Sharma defended the pitch in Motera and said it was a normal Indian track on which both Indian and England batsmen committed technical errors. Indian captain Virat Kohli also defended the pitch and said it was 'bizarre' that 21 of the 30 wickets to fall were off straight balls. Rohit Sharma profusely praised Axar Patel for his Man Of The Match performance (11 wickets) with the ball. India now lead the four-Test series 2-1. Video and photos: BCCI
