Assam's Dibrugarh goes to polls on April 11. In 2014, Dibrugarh recorded a polling percentage of 75.46%. BJP's Rameswar Teli defeated Congress’ Paban Singh Ghatowar by 185,347 votes. According to 2011 census data, Dibrugarh’s total population is 1937415, out of which 76% is rural and 24% is urban population.
