Ayushmann Khurrana Confirms The Release Date Of Anek
After 'Article 15', actor Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha are collaborating on 'Anek', a socio-political thriller. The film will release theatrically on 31st March 2022.
Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media and dropped the first look from the film. He wrote:
“Thrilled to reunite with @anubhavsinhaa for a character that pushed me out of my comfort zone & with #BhushanKumar as a support system, #Anek will usher in a different language of cinema. Mark the date for this socio-political thriller: 31.03.2022. @benarasmediaworks @tseriesfilms @tseries.official #AnubhavSinha”
'Anek' is set against the geopolitical backdrop of Northeast India. Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of Joshua. The film is bankrolled by T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks, and it was shot across the sprawling hills of Assam and Shillong.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana has two more big releases lined up for 2022, he will also be seen with Vaani Kapoor in Abhishek Kapoor's next film, 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui', which became the first film to be wrapped up during the pandemic.
He has committed to appear in Junglee Pictures's 'Doctor G' as Dr Uday Gupta opposite Rakul Preet Singh, a film directed by Anubhuti Kashyap.
