Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer, was killed yesterday when a prop gun discharged on the set of Alec Baldwin’s western movie Rust. Director Joel Souza was also injured when the prop firearm was discharged by Alec Baldwin while filming in New Mexico. Hutchins died after being transported by helicopter to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. No arrests or charges have been filed in relation with the incident, which remains under an open and active investigation.
