Ein Zeitzeugnis. Jedes Jahr wieder ein Ereignis auf der Nordsee-Insel Helgoland wenn im Juli der Happot Cup ausgefahren wird, in diesen Aufnahmen zum 10. Mal. Ein Bootsrennen der Insulaner mit Kultstatus. Insgesamt gehen 15 Boote in drei Gruppen je nach Klassifizierung von der Landungsbrücke aus an den Start, das Spektrum reicht von 13 PS bis 850 PS. Ein Riesenspaß – nach der Preisverleihung durch Klaus Friedrichs mit dem trockenen Wortwitz der Insulaner wird natürlich wie immer übermütig gefeiert bis tief in die Nacht. Mit Musik gespielt von Thomas Friedrichs und zahlreichen Ständen rund um den Musikpavillon an der Landungsbrücke, die nicht nur den beliebten Börtebraten, und andere Besonderheiten vom Grill sondern auch zahlreiche Getränkespezialitäten bieten. Feiern auf der Insel, rein ins Vergnügen!
A testimony of time. Every year an event on the North Sea island of Helgoland when the Happot Cup is held in July, in these pictures for the 10th time. A boat race of the islanders with cult status. A total of 15 boats in three groups according to classification start from the jetty, the spectrum ranges from 13 hp to 850 hp. A lot of fun – after the award ceremony by Klaus Friedrichs with the dry wit of the islanders, of course, as always, exuberant celebration until deep into the night. With music played by Thomas Friedrichs and numerous stands around the music pavilion at the landing stage, which offer not only the popular Börtebraten, and other specialties from the grill but also numerous drink specialties. Celebrate on the island, get into the fun!
