PM gives message against corruption at CVC-CBI conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday virtually addressed a joint conference of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Gujarat, in which he hailed a New India which is increasingly using digital tools to push back against age-old corrupt practices. PM Modi said that corruption takes away the rights of people and hinders the pursuit of justice for all, the nation’s progress and affects the collective power of the nation. He emphasized that in the last 6-7 years, the government has succeeded in instilling confidence that it is possible to contain corruption.
