Before the Punjab Assembly Election 2022, former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced to form his own separate party. The Captain, who resigned from the chief minister's post a month ago, has now formally announced his separation from the Congress. Captain's media advisor Raveen Thukran made three tweets quoting the captain.

पंजाब में अगले साल होने वाले Assembly Election 2022 से पहले पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री Captain Amarinder Singh ने एक ऐलान कर दिया. एक महीने पहले ही मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देने वाले कैप्टन ने अब कांग्रेस से अलग होने का औपचारिक ऐलान भी कर दिया. कैप्टन के मीडिया सलाहकार रवीन ठुकरान ने कैप्टन के हवाले से तीन ट्वीट किए. इन ट्वीट के जरिए कैप्टन ने सिद्धू पर हमला भी किया, कांग्रेस को झटका भी दिया और बीजेपी को ऑफर भी किया.
