The weather has once again taken a sharp turn across the country. Rain has wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand. A red alert has been declared here for 19 October. Due to heavy rains, life has been disturbed. Many highways and roads have been closed due to landslides caused by rain. SDRF & Police y'day rescued around 22 devotees stuck at Jungle Chatti amid incessant rainfall, while coming back from Kedarnath Temple. They were shifted to Gauri Kund. One 55-yr-old devotee, who was facing difficulty in walking, was shifted on a stretcher.

देशभर में एक बार फिर से मौसम ने तेज करवट ली है। कई राज्यों में भारी बारिश (Heavy Rain) हो रही है। केरल (Kerala) से लेकर उत्तराखंड (Uttarakhand)तक बारिश तबाही मचा रही है। मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने उत्तराखंड में आज लगतार तीसरे दिन भारी बारिश का अलर्ट (Rain Alert) जारी किया है. आसमान से आफत के रूप में बरस रही बारिश ने उत्तराखंड में कहर बरपा रखा है. 19 अक्तूबर यानि आज के लिए भी यहां रेड अलर्ट (Red Alert) घोषित किया गया है। तेज बारिश के कारण जन जीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है. बारिश के कारण हुए भूस्खलन (Landslide) से कई हाइवे और सड़कों को बंद कर दिया गया है.
