EAM Jaishankar meets Israeli counterpart in Tel Aviv

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met Foreign Minister of Israel, Yair Lapid in Tel Aviv on October 18.
The Foreign Ministers decided at a meeting to resume negotiations on FTA (Free Trade Agreements) between the two countries as early as November, with the hope that the agreement will be ready for signature by mid-2022.
They both also agreed on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates. Jaishankar also thanked Israel for joining International Solar Alliance.
EAM Jaishankar is on a three-day visit to Israel.
