In the ongoing second phase of Malabar exercise in the Bay of Bengal, United States Navy Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Michael Gilday on October 14 called India a ‘natural partner’. “We are operating very closely with Indian Navy. Our intention is to operate much more closely with them over the coming weeks, months and years. We feel we are natural partners. Malabar exercise has been very successful,” he added.
