Metro Manila to shift to alert level 3 starting tomorrow | New Day
  • 2 years ago
A group of doctors is calling on government to explain its criteria for downgrading the alert level status in Metro Manila. Philippine College of Physicians president Dr. Maricar Limpin says it is not enough to say that COVID-19 cases are declining without laying down the targets as basis for the shift in alert status. The group of healthcare workers adds, while the situation is not as bad as before, many hospitals are still operating near full capacity. But the Palace denies this.

We talk to health reform advocate and former special adviser to the National Task Force Against COVID-19 Dr. Tony Leachon.
