The end of the world is around 2020 - Terence Mckenna ( Criticizing Alan Watts )

In this speech, Terence Mckenna analysis the human behavior, and talks about how we destroy ourselves and the planet, through different level, socially by using harmful depressing social structures, psychologically by getting addicted to the technology we crated, biologically by polluting the same earth we live in ... etc.
And he provides some answers, by criticizing Alan Watts, Joe Campbell, Jung and different spiritual influencers and gurus, insisting that we need to take immediate actions, and that accepting things as they are is not the right solution at all as they profess.

"Really, the fundamental, ultimate mystery — the only thing you need to know to understand the deepest metaphysical secrets — is this: that for every outside there is an inside and for every inside there is an outside, and although they are different, they go together."– Alan Watts (1915 – 1973)

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.” Terence Mckenna ( 1946 - 2000 )
