People in power muzzling law and order: Harsimrat Badal on Lakhimpur violence

Speaking on the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, former union minister and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal on October 9 alleged that people sitting in power responsible to maintain law and order are themselves muzzling it, running over the farmers. “We demand the dismissal of MoS Ajay Mishra, immediate arrest of his son and a Supreme Court-monitored probe by a sitting Supreme Court judge. Since the accused is powerful, he is being shielded by the government,” she added.
