In the India Today Conclave 2021 organized on Saturday, Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait while speaking on the agriculture law mentioned the news of Madhya Pradesh where the mandis had to be closed. He stated that the Government should ensure that what has been decided in the Parliament that the MSP was, is, and will be there is just a lie. The government has simply fooled the public by stating lies. The MSP bus has remained confined to the papers of Delhi. The Government has not been on field in village, farmers are facing much trouble. Rakesh Tikait asked who would buy crops outside the mandis. Mandis are a platform to sell farmers' crops.
