NCP-BJP clashed over Aryan drugs case, Malik put allegations
  • 3 years ago
Eight people, including the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, were arrested last Sunday after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Many twists and turns have taken place in the case since then, from Aryan Khan being denied bail on Friday to Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik alleging that the NCB raids were fake and a set-up to frame certain people. NCP's spokesperson and a Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik on Saturday claimed that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had initially detained 11 persons from a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast, but let off three of them. Addressing a press conference, Malik also alleged that the BJP leader's kin was among those three persons. Nawab Malik surrounded the NCB on the cruise, calling the raid fake. He demanded an inquiry into the calls of NCB zonal head Sameer Wankhede. While giving his reaction to this, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said that all these allegations are baseless. Watch this video.
