Maneka Gandhi and Varun Gandhi have been cut out of BJP's national executive committee list. Both were members of the executive committee till now. However, Mithun Chakraborty has got a place in the new executive. Varun Gandhi had demanded justice by tweeting on the recent incident in Lakhimpur Kheri. It is being speculated that he and his mother have been thrown out of the committee because of this.
