Priyanka Gandhi Arrested Over Lakhimpur Kheri Violence Protest: Bhupesh Baghel Gives Dharna Inside Lucknow Airport, Navjot Sidhu's Protest Call

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress leader has been arrested for defying orders to visit Lakhimpur Kheri. Orders were imposed in the district under Section 144 of the CrPC. Eight people were killed following clashes between protesting farmers & the convoy of Union Minister Ajay Misra’s son, Ashish Mishra. Reportedly, Priyanka Gandhi’s arrest took place at around 4.30 am on October 4. The Congress General Secretary is presently detained at a PAC guest house in Sitapur. Meanwhile, on October 5, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel sat on dharna after being refused to walk out of its premises by the UP police. Baghel was on his way to Sitapur to meet detained Gandhi. On October 4, in Chandigarh, PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu staged a protest outside Punjab Raj Bhawan. Watch the video to know more.
