Another “Marcos” is seeking the highest position in the land.
Maria Aurora Marcos, an independent candidate, vowed to make positive changes in the Philippines as she would “provide food, shelter, and clothing for the masses” when she filed her certificate of candidacy for president.

Marcos also said that she would create job opportunities for the people “making them again effective, efficient, (and) productive.”

Senatorial aspirant Lawyer Paul Medard Escolano said that he will promote the welfare of government employees should he win in the upcoming general elections next year. He will also rally for the welfare of the country’s healthcare workers.

Lawyer Larry Gadon filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator.
This is Gadon’s third attempt for a senate seat after losing in the 2016 and 2019 elections. He will run under Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, the party which also nominated former Senator Bongbong Marcos for president.
