Former UP Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has been detained by the police for staging a protest outside his Lucknow residence. Protesters set on fire a police vehicle outside the residence of Akhilesh Yadav on Monday. The incident happened just a few metres away from the site where Akhilesh Yadav was staging a sit-in protest after police stopped him from going to Lakhimpur Kheri.
