India reported 26,727 new Covid-19 cases on October 1. 277 people died taking the death toll to 4,48,339 in the last 24 hours. Active caseload stands at 2,75,224. The total recoveries have climbed to 3,30,43,144 after 28,246 people were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. 89,02,08,007 vaccine doses have been administered.
