Congress Crisis: Amarinder Singh, Former Punjab CM, Meets Home Minister Amit Shah

Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, who resigned recently from the position, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on September 29. Singh said, in the hour-long meeting, the two leaders discussed farmers' issues. After the meeting, Singh tweeted, “Met Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji in Delhi. Discussed the prolonged farmers agitation against Farm Laws.” He used the hashtag #NoFarmersNoFood. Amarinder Singh's team called the meeting with Amit Shah a \"courtesy visit\". Reportedly, there is no decision on his joining the BJP as of now. Singh had resigned after a rebellion by some in the party. His opponents included Navjot Singh Sidhu.
