Auerbach Center -- Jaylen Brown spoke to reporters on Wednesday after the Celtics second training camp practice.
Jaylen Brown was asked about his relationship with Jayson Tatum: "It's definitely grown a lot. ... There's a respect there. ... Our relationship is built around respect..Jayson respects my work ethic, I respect his ... regardless of what I do off the court, I put everything, my heart and soul into this game." He continued saying Tatum "can be one of the best when it's all said and done, I feel the same about myself. The media likes to dichotomize things ... write the story that pulls us apart, we talk ... I want the best for him, he wants the best for me."
Brown on NBAPA/NBA vaccine discussion: "They've done a great job. The WNBA is 99% vaccinated and the NBA is 90% ... certain stakes, certain entities aren't at that percentage level. It's interesting to see the concern."

Jaylen on his wrist: "I feel good ... I feel athletic, I feel light, I'm fast, I'm in shape ... some days (wrist) is sore right now ... nothing to worry about too much right now ... wrist is one of the hardest things to heal ... tremendous effect (on game even with off hand)."
He also says Udoka is establishing himself as a leader and #Celtics have bought in. "We're trying to learn, a lot of the guys on the staff ... I'm looking forward to the ups and the downs of this season."
Brown said "Between Dennis, Smart, Josh, Rob, we have the potential to be really good defensively ... we can really do some damage, especially playing at that pace we want to play at ... I'm excited to play that side of the ball this year."
