Red Alert Issued For Parts Of Maharashtra, Telangana As Cyclone Gulab Brings Heavy Rain

Heavy rainfall is predicted in many parts of Maharashtra, including Mumbai and Thane. Reportedly, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for districts like Palghar, Raigad, and Thane for September 28. An orange alert has been issued for Mumbai. This comes due to Cyclone Gulab, which made landfall over Andhra Pradesh on September 26. The weather report suggests that these regions might receive heavy rains on September 28. Meanwhile, Telangana received heavy downpour on September 27. IMD issued a red alert for 14 districts in the state.
