Child-friendly version of Instagram app put on hold amid backlash

Facebook is putting a hold on the development of a kids' version of Instagram geared toward children under 13. Concerns have been raised about the vulnerability of younger users. The director at the Centre for Responsible Technology, Peter Lewis, says that Instagram is linked to a range of mental health issues and that giving kids access to the platform from a younger age could be harmful.
