On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABHM), aiming to enhance the efficiency of the healthcare system in India. Under this mission, a health ID for every Indian will be made which will also work as their health account, to which personal health records can be linked and viewed with the help of a mobile application. PM Modi in his address opined that today 130 crore Aadhaar numbers, 118 crore mobile subscribers, about 80 crore internet users, and about 43 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts have been opened in our country. There is no such large connected infrastructure anywhere in the world. This digital infrastructure today has reached everyone from ration to administration to the common Indian in a fast and transparent manner. Watch this video.
