Air Marshal V R Chaudhari To Succeed RKS Bhadauria As New Indian Air Force Chief

Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, ace fighter pilot, has been appointed as the next chief of the Indian Air Force. He will succeed Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria. He retires from service on September 30. Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari is currently the Vice Chief of Air Staff. Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari was the chief of the Western Air Command from August 1, 2020. He was commissioned into Fighter Stream of the IAF on December 29, 1982. Chaudhari has flown a wide variety of fighter and trainer aircraft. He has a flying experience of more than 3,800 hours. The Ministry of Defence in the press release said, “Government has decided to appoint Air Marshal V R Chaudhari, PVSM, AVSM, VM, presently Vice Chief of Air Staff, as the next Chief of the Air Staff .” Watch the video to know more.
