In Punjab, Congress has got a new Chief Minister in the form of Charanjit Singh Channi, along with Channi, OP Soni has also taken oath as the Deputy CM of Punjab. Om Prakash Soni is a member of Punjab Legislative Assembly which is Amritsar. Represents the Central (Amritsar Central). Soni is also a cabinet minister in the Punjab government and heads the school education department. He took oath as the Deputy CM on Monday. OP Soni has taken oath as Deputy CM after Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.

पंजाब में कांग्रेस को चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी के रुप में नया मुख्यमंत्री मिल गया गया है, चन्नी के साथ ओपी सोनी ने भी पंजाब के डिप्टी सीएम पद की शपथ ली है.,ओम प्रकाश सोनी पंजाब विधानसभा (Punjab Legislative Assembly) के सदस्य हैं जो अमृतसर सेंट्रल (Amritsar Central) का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं. सोनी पंजाब सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री भी हैं और स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग के प्रमुख हैं. उन्होंने सोमवार को डिप्टी सीएम के रूप में शपथ ली है. ओपी सोनी ने सुखजिंदर सिंह रंधावा के बाद डिप्टी सीएम पद की शपथ ली है.
