The setup: A few years ago, Levine and Stefani were video chatting over a less-than-stellar mobile connection, presumably not on T-Mobile's network. Stefani was explaining her ideal choice in a partner: someone cultured, from another country and someone not scared of a strong woman. Levine heard differently and set up her and Shelton on a date. Stefani was less than impressed.
