Before he tendered his resignation from the post of Punjab chief minister, Captain Amarinder Singh penned a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi informing her of his intention to step down.Amarinder Singh’s media advisor Raveen Thukral, who quit along with the outgoing Punjab CM, on Sunday tweeted excerpts from the letter, in which the Congress leader expressed his deep anguish at the political theatre playing out in the state in recent times.
