The Pakistan Cricket Board is finding it difficult to appoint a new chief selector after the current system of selection in the country has prevented its top candidate from working. A source told news agency PTI that former fast bowler Muhammad Akram was the top candidate for the post of chief selector, but supported the demand that the board revert to the old system of selection.
