Footage filmed by Hristijan Dimovski in Bitola, North Macedonia shows the tiny animal trying his best to escape the running wheel.
The filmer shared: "Тhis video was recorded in a pet shop. I was walking and I saw this sweet hamster and I started filming him. He was trying to get out of the wheel."
To this day, it remains a mystery whether the lovable snowball was eventually able to succeed in his quest for freedom, or accepted the wheel as his permanent home.
