'Herd of elephants crosses busy road in Kenya in their quest for fresh water'

'Head-turning footage emanating from Kadzonzo, Mariakani, Kenya
shows the traffic on a highway coming to a temporary halt in order to allow a herd of elephants to cross the road safely.

The filmer, Joseph Wambua said: "A herd of colossal elephants was spotted in Jimba and Kadzonzo. Apparently, they were traversing the village searching for fresh drinking water."

The commuters can be seen in awe of the giant creatures casually walking among them.

When someone pointed out to the filmer that the droughts were driving the elephants away from forests, Joseph replied: "Interesting take but the truth is that the road and the people came to the elephants, not the other way around."

This video was filmed on September 7, 2021.
