Virat Kohli surpasses Sachin and Lara, becomes fastest to 20,000 international runs

Virat Kohli already owns a plethora of batting records. Records, which he has collected almost at will over his decade long career so far. On Thursday, the Indian captain added another one to his name while playing in a World Cup match against the West Indies. Kohli now owns the record of becoming the fastest to get to 20,000 international runs, across all formats. Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara to get to the landmark in his 417th international innings when he reached 37. Both Tendulkar and Lara had taken 453 innings to complete 20,000 international runs.
