Karnataka CM Bommai halts demolition of temple after criticism from Opposition parties

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has halted the demolition of a Hindu temple in Mysuru district after Opposition parties hit out at the BJP for the same. The chief minister has ordered that a proper consultation be done before demolition of the temple.
The temple demolition was done in response to a Supreme Court order against illegal structures.
