Boeing Increases Demand Forecast
Boeing ($BA@US) changed its long-term demand forecasts as commercial air travel in the U.S. rebounds. While the industry has not recovered fully from the COVID-19 pandemic, industry predictions are starting to turn. Boeing forecasts 500 more jet deliveries over the next 20 years, and forecasts for the next ten years rose by 10,000 units. Boeing also believes that domestic air travel will increase to pre-pandemic levels at some point in 2022. Regional travel could recover by 2023, and international air travel figures should return to normal by 2024.
