Devotees going for the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi will soon get to see more facilities at the base station Katra Railway Station, in fact the foundation stone for the expansion of infrastructure and passenger facilities at Katra Railway Station was laid. During this, the foundation stone of two new platforms was laid at Katra railway station, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi.

माता वैष्‍णो देवी के दर्शन को जाने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को जल्‍द ही आधार स्‍टेशन कटरा रेलवे स्‍टेशन पर और अधिक सुविधाएं देखने को मिलेंगी, दरअसल कटरा रेलवे स्टेशन पर बुनियादी ढांचे और यात्री सुविधाओं के विस्तार की आधारशिला रखी. इस दौरान माता वैष्णो देवी के आधार शिविर कटरा रेलवे स्टेशन पर दो नए प्लेटफॉर्म का शिलान्यास किया गया.
