Radha Rani's name is always taken along with the name of Lord Krishna. The festival of Radha Ashtami comes 15 days after Shri Krishna Janmashtami. According to the Hindu calendar, Radha Ashtami Vrat is observed on the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. This year Radha Ashtami will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 14. According to religious beliefs, the worship of Lord Krishna is considered incomplete without the worship of Radha Rani. Like Krishna Janmashtami, the festival of Radha Ashtami is celebrated with great pomp.

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के नाम के साथ हमेशा राधा रानी का नाम भी लिया जाता है। श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के 15 दिन बाद राधा अष्टमी का पर्व आता है। हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, भाद्रपद मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि को राधा अष्टमी व्रत रखा जाता है। इस साल राधा अष्टमी 14 सितंबर, मंगलवार को मनाई जाएगी। धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, राधा रानी की पूजा के बिना भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा अधूरी मानी जाती है। कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी की तरह ही राधा अष्टमी का त्योहार बड़े धूमधाम के साथ मनाते हैं।
