Bhupendra Patel, senior BJP leader, is the new chief minister of Gujarat. He is known to be a protege of former Chief Minister Anandiben Patel. He has replaced Vijay Rupani as the CM of the state. He was elected as the leader of the legislature party post a meeting. Reportedly, it is believed that he was the choice of PM Narendra Modi & Union Minister Amit Shah.
