The fifth Test between India and England scheduled to begin from Friday is cancelled amid Covid-19 scare in the India camp, said a statement from ECB.Following ongoing conversations with the BCCI, the ECB can confirm that the fifth LV= Insurance Test between England and India Men due to start today at Emirates Old Trafford, will be cancelled- the official statement by ECB stated.



भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच पांच टेस्ट मैचों की सीरीज का पांचवा और अंतिम टेस्ट मैच भारतीय टीम में कोरोना के मामले सामने आने के बाद रद्द करने का फैसला लिय गया है, पांचवा टेस्ट मैच मैनचेटेस्टर के ओल्ड ट्रैफर्ड में खेला जाना था, इस बात आकलन मैच शुरू होने से एक दिन पहले ही चल रहा था, टीम इंडिया के सहायक फीजियो योगेश परमार कोविड 19 से संक्रमित पाए गए थे, हालांकि मैच के दिन यानि की 10 सितंबर को इस बात की पुष्टि इंग्लैंड क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने कर दी, सीरीज में भारत 2-1 से आगे चल रहा था। इंग्लैंड ने बीसीसीआई के साथ बातचीत के बाद मैच रद्द करने का फैसला लिया गया।
