She's born in 1997 from a Haitian father and a Japanese mother, in Osaka, Japan.
She moves out in New York aged of 3 and then in For Lauredale, Florida where she still trains today.
Naomi has both Japanese and American nationalities but barely speaks Japanese and represent Japan only in competition.
She went pro at 15 and her career took off in 2016 when she became a finalist at The Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo.
In 2014, she beats U.S Open Sam Stosur champion on the first round and then she stands out by beating Maria Sharapova and Simona Halep.
