NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has outlined the state's plan to lift lockdown restrictions in COVID-free suburbs first, however some local government authorities are urging the Premier to reopen the whole of Sydney at the same time, despite hotspot pockets. Professor Mark Stoove says that keeping some LGAs in lockdown will have little impact on reducing the spread of the virus.
