The Tailor of Panama is a 2001 Irish-American spy thriller film directed by John Boorman, it stars Pierce Brosnan and Geoffrey Rush.
Plot - In Panama, the 'Pendel & Braithwaite' tailor shop, managed by Harry Pendel, has among its customers the richest and most powerful men in the city. Starting from nothing, Harry has managed to build a good life, which he shares with Marta (who manages his business) and Louisa, his wife, a close collaborator of the President of the Canal Commission. There is nothing Harry is not willing to do in order not to change anything in his life. Meanwhile, British spy Andy Osnard has arrived in Panama with the task of keeping an eye on the Canal. He identifies Harry as the ideal informant.
