टीम इंडिया के ओपनर बल्लेबाज रोहित शर्मा ने ओवल टेस्ट मैच की दूसरी पारी में पूरे रंग में नजर आए और शतक लगाया, विदेशी धरती पर रोहित शर्मा ने पहली बार शतक लगाने का कमाल किया। उन्होंने अपने टेस्ट क्रिकेट करियर के 43वें मैच में ये कामयाबी अपने नाम की। उन्होंने इंग्लैंड के गेंदबाज मोइन अली की गेंद पर छक्का लगाकर अपना टेस्ट शतक पूरा किया तो वहीं ये उनके टेस्ट करियर का 8वां शतक है, इस मैच के दौरान रोहित शर्मा ने टेस्ट करियर में 3000 टेस्ट रन भी पूरे किए।
