The Supreme Court on Thursday expressed displeasure over fake news on social media and YouTube. Chief Justice NV Ramana said that bad-mouthing is also written for judges on social media. During the hearing, the Supreme Court also said about the reporting of Tablighi Jamaat in the beginning of Corona in India that the color of communalism was given in the news shown in a section of the media, which would have spoiled the image of the country.

Supreme Court ने गुरुवार को सोशल मीडिया और यूट्यूब पर फर्जी खबरों को लेकर नाराजगी जताई। Chief Justice NV Ramana ने कहा कि सोशल मीडिया पर जजों के लिए भी बुरा-भला लिखा जाता है। सुनवाई के दौरान सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भारत में कोरोना के शुरुआत में तबलीगी जमात (Tablighi Jamaat) को लेकर हुई रिपोर्टिंग को लेकर भी कहा कि मीडिया के एक वर्ग में दिखाई जाने वाली खबरों में सांप्रदायिकता का रंग दिया गया था, जिससे देश की छवि खराब होती है।
