Afghanistan Crisis: Know what India-Taliban talks in Doha

Taliban deliberates its power equations in Afghanistan. Several meetings are on with the focus on government structure in its newly acquired country. The first India-Taliban talks have taken place in Doha, Qatar. After the US exit, India's ambassador to Qatar, Deepak Mittal, met Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the head of the Taliban’s Political Office in Doha. The meeting took on the request of the Taliban side. The focus of the talks was on safety, security, and the early return of Indian nationals stranded in Afghanistan.
