Kailangan pa ng ebidensya para mapatunayang epektibo ang pagsusuot ng face shield para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19, ayon sa World Health Organization.
Pinag-aaralan daw ng W.H.O ang karanasan ng Pilipinas na kabilang sa iilang bansa lamang na nagre-require ng face shield sa mga pampublikong lugar.
