It was heartbreak for Ziyad Zolkefli – along with his fellow Malaysians – as he was disqualified from the men's shot putt F20 competition, while medalists powerlifters Bonnie Bunyau Gustin and Jong Yee Khie were given a modest but meaningful reception upon their arrival at the KL International Airport (KLIA) Tuesday evening.
The national contingent is assured a third medal of the campaign after national boccia player Chew Wei Lun made it to the individual BC 1 (physical impairment) final.
