#KiniNews: Unity govt not on DAP's mind, Ismail Sabri under quarantine

[KiniNews] DAP's willingness to cooperate with newly minted Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob should not be mistaken as an attempt to form a unity government, said party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
Lim said the DAP will still remain in the opposition to play its constitutional role as a check and balance on the government, a voice of the people, standing up for ideals and principles as well as fighting against injustices.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob did not witness the swearing-in of his cabinet in person because he is under quarantine.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) also confirmed that Ismail Sabri will not be able to attend the Merdeka Day event in Putrajaya tomorrow.
