Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated every year on the Ashtami date of Bhadrapada month. On the day of Janmashtami, all the temples of the country and the world are adorned with Lord Krishna. Jhakis are decorated in the honor of Shri Krishna Avatar and after making Kanha, he is made swinging. Worshiping Shri Krishna on this day leads to child birth, age and prosperity.

हर साल भाद्रपद मास की अष्टमी तिथि को कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी मनाई जाती है. जन्माष्टमी के दिन देश-दुनिया के सभी मंदिरों कृष्ण भगवान का श्रृंगार किया जाता है. श्री कृष्णावतार के उपलक्ष्य में झाकियां सजाई जाती हैं और कान्हा का श्रृंगार करके उन्हें झूला झुलाया जाता है. आज के दिन श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा करने से संतान प्राप्ति,आयु और समृद्धि की प्राप्ति होती है.
